Hi, Everyone,
Well, we've been though quite in the last year and a half since Pluto, the planet of change, death, and rebirth, went into the sign of Capricorn on November 28, 2008 at the world axis, which impacts global changes. Capricorn rules institutions, government, capitalism, and authority. We have seen several changes in all of those areas on a global level. Pluto's orbit is approximately every 248 years, and the last time we had Pluto in the sign of Capricorn, we experienced the American Revolution.
Well, that was the initial impetus for global change, which began in November 2008, and it was just the beginning. To add to that, Saturn, which represents karma, the past,responsibility, foundation, and endings, went into the sign of Libra, which is the sign of partnerships and relationships. It retrograded back to the sign of Virgo, on March 26th, 2010, so Virgos are getting their final Saturn journey and are resolving any unfinished business in their lives. Saturn will retun to the sign of Libra, also at 0 degrees, which is the world axis, on July 22nd, 2010, where it will remain through October 6, 2012.
Saturn is another outer planet, which makes us asses what is important in our lives. In this respect, it is partnerships. The cardinal signs are the ones, which are really getting hit, and those are the signs of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, and Aries. If there are things, which are destructive, Saturn will make you end these cycles and patterns, in order to build more structure in your lives.
We experienced another monumental change this past week, when Uranus, which rules upheaval, revolt, the new, chaos, technology, and invention, and innovation, went to 0 degree of Aries, another world axis point. The last time Uranus was in the sign of Aries was from 1927 until 1934, when we experienced the Great Depression. Look at this past week as a pre-cursor to what the next 8 years hold for you. Uranus will briefly return to the sign of Pisces, which is endings, from August 15th until March 13, 2011.
One very auspicious aspect, which is heating up now is the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, and this means unexpected good fortune and abundance. Aries is the sign of new beginnings, and with Uranus, the planet of technology and advancement in this sign, we can expect great technological progress, and more empowerment for people to work for themselves. Aries is an impatient sign, and with this combination, and with Uranus in this sign, change will happen quickly. People born at the beginning of the signs of Aries, Cancer,Libra and Capricorn will feel LOTS of change with these influences, and Jupiter could help to bring unexpected, pleasant surprises for everyone.
Uranus also represents upheaval and tumult, and Aries is ruled by Mars, the god of war; so, there could be escalation on a global level of that, as well. Jupiter and Uranus are going to dance together for a few months, and that helps to deflect some of the more difficult aspects we have this summer. We have 3 direct hits of it, this June 6th marks the first and is exact through June 14th in the sign of Aries. Uranus returns to the sign of Pisces on August 15th, and Jupiter returns to Pisces again on September 1st;they will be exactly conjunct from September 10th through September 24th at late degrees of Pisces, and then again from December 28th until January 10th, 2010.
We have also have two major Eclipses, which are in the works. There is a Lunar Eclipse on June 26, 2010 at 4 degrees of Capricorn, and it exactly conjoins Pluto, the planet of death and regeneration. This will be a very intense Lunar Eclipse, which in and of itself is an extra powerful new moon, especially since Pluto is involved. At this time, there will be many break ups, endings, heavy emotions, especially for the cardinal signs of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, and Aries. Aince, it's close to the world axis, and Uranus, which is violence and upheaval will be at the world axis, there most likely will be a lot of upheaval and more ongoing protests throughout the world. If something is not working in your life, this most likely is the time to let it go.
Following that is a total Solar Eclipse on July 11, 2010 at 19 degrees of Cancer. Solar Eclipses are a time of new beginnings, and are extra powerful new moons. This is a time to invoke and commence projects, launch things, make plans, etc. This is a great time to do the Law of Abundance, which I will enclose at the end.
One final thing to add to this is that we are going to have a T-Square, which is a difficult planetary pattern, of the outer planets all close to the cardinal and world axis. It involves Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Pluto, and this will impact us strongly from June, 2010 until August of 2010. Again, this is a call for all of us both individually and collectively to make positive changes, as this planetary alignment will wake us all up and force us to make changes in our lives. This will be an extremely big time in all of our lives, as we've yet to experience this lineup of planets. Past article from Summer of 2009 regarding Eclipses
July: Eclipse Galore
Hi, Everyone,This is going to be an extremely pivotal summer for everyone. To begin with, we have 3 upcoming eclipses, which in itself is an aberration because generally we have two eclipses every 6 months. We start the Eclipse series in Cancer/Capricorn with a Lunar Eclipse on July 7th, 2009 at 5:21 AM EDT. This eclipse is at 15 degrees of Capricorn, and anyone with planets or angles at 15 degrees of Cardinal, i.e. Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn will feel this energy. Capricorn is the sign, which rules institutions, industry, capitalism, the government, and authority. Since Pluto, the planet of change and transformation, went into the sign of Capricorn last year, we've seen the demise of many institutional leaders and organizations. This eclipse is probably going to bring more things to light, as eclipses are very revelatory.
Look in the news and around you for unexpected break ups, new meetings,deaths, hearing from people from the past, and information becoming uncovered with the Lunar energy this next week, in particular. A Lunar eclipse occurs approximately every 6 months, and it is an EXTRA powerful Full moon, so get ready for high emotions this month and hearing about a lot of relationship issues. It happens when the earth is between the sun and the moon, and the shadow of the Earth falls on the moon. Lots of wild things happen around lunar eclipses, and you might encounter a lot of "odd" people. Also, because relationships will be a lot more high strung and on edge this next 6 weeks or so, now is not the time to bring up heavy issues or to instigate big battles because during eclipse time, people can literally be "eclipsed" from our lives.
The next Eclipse in the series is a Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees of Cancer on July 21, 2009 at 10:35 PM EDT. Look for anything in your chart, which is at a late degree of Cardinal or early degrees of fixed signs, i.e. Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, and Taurus. A Solar eclipse occurs when the Moon stands between the Sun and Earth, cutting off the light of the Sun. A Solar eclipse is always a new moon, and Solar Eclipses tend to bring in new beginnings in people's lives. Solar Eclipses are Extra powerful new moons, and they bring in hope and new beginnings for projects, relationships, and goals to which we apply ourselves. I have found in my study of Eclipses, both Lunar and Solar, that both tend to bring in endings and beginnings, as one inevitably defines the other;however, Solar Eclipses tend to bring in more of new beginnings, new opportunities, new connections. Manifest the energy as a new beginning in your life. On the Solar Eclipse, it is a great time to do the Law of Abundance. Below are the instructions:

Another Eclipse to add to the mix is a Lunar Eclipse at 13 degrees of Aquarius, which falls on August 5, 2009 at 5:39 EDT. Lunar Eclipses tend to be more emotional and are Libran in nature, in that they are relationship oriented. A lot of Aquarians and Leos, as well as the other fixed signs of Taurus and Scorpio, might find that emotional issues in relationships reach an apex in August/September. Many of the other signs will feel it, as well. Again, it's not a time to bring up big confrontations, but if things have not been working for a while or things are imbalanced, Eclipses shake things up and open our eyes. Good things can come to completion and fruition during Lunar Eclipses, as well;but, it's always very busy energy.
One final and major thing to add to the mix is that Pluto, which is the planet of death and regeneration is returning to the world axis of 0 degree of Capricorn on August 6th, right in the wake of the Lunar Eclipse. The world axis involves global issues and famous people. Currently, Pluto is only a degree away, and the news is focused on the tragic death of Michael Jackson, an International Pop icon, as well as the news that Bernie Madoff received 150 years for his sociopathic misuse of Capitalism, at its worst.
Pluto will be at this axis until the end of October, and more fraud and financial issues could surface during this time;however, Pluto is the cosmic composte, which eliminates in order to transcend. Currently, we're eliminating years of toxicity in the Capitalist system and in in our own lives. Major issues and events have also occurred recently in Iran and Honduras, so there could be other major International events this next few months. Good luck and blessings to all.

March begins with a bang by Tisch Aitken
Hi, Everyone,
In my last article I wrote in December, I mentioned that we were still in store for some very difficult times this year. I know we all want to know good things;but, honestly, it's also important to be prepared when things are more difficult. For instance, we're in a global financial crisis and a world crisis, in general. We've had some of the challenging outer planets at the world axis, and this will continue on and off through the next year. We need to think globally and not locally;frankly, we have no choice. We ended the year with Mars, the planet of work matters, energy, and war, retrograding in the sign of Leo on December 20th, 2009 at 19 degrees of Leo, and it will not be direct again until March 10th.
Mars retrogrades every 2 years, and it definitely slows things down, and it can be ESPECIALLY difficult when it remains in one sign, as it has in the sign of Leo. When Mars retrogrades, life slows down, matters remain unresolved, and we do not move forward. I'm sure a lot of fixed signs, especially Leo and Aquarius, as well as the other fixed signs, have felt it even more intensely;however, it affects all of us. It can slow down business, cause accidents, and it can just induce low energy, in general. I've heard a lot of people complain about loss of jobs and lack of business, etc. In January of 2010, we had the biggest auto recall in history with Toyota. Mars also rules motors, cars, and machines.
To add to this, we experienced two big eclipses soon after on 12/31 and 1/15, and this further ignited this confusing energy. People are very frightened, and I think it's important to face that fear, rather than ignore it. On January 12, 2010, which was 3 days before the powerful Solar Eclipse in Capricorn, there was a horrendous earthquake in Haiti, and over this past weekend, there was another earthquake in Chili, albeit not on the same scale. Not to mention a tsunami alert in Hawaii. These are very daunting and frightening facts.
With mars retrograde, realize business can slow down but also realize that when it turns direct again on March 10th, this will help to give us all a big boost. There will be a new moon in the sign of Pisces, where benevolent Jupiter currently resides, on March 15th. This is a time to bring in new opportunities, focus on goals, and start new projects. The next few months are a very expansive time for water signs, i.e., Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio. Jupiter brings in opportunities, expansion, and abundance, and it is currently in the sign of Pisces, who should benefit especially from this energy.

However, we are now reverting more to the values of our parents and grandparents, who did not live beyond their means, spend thousands of dollars on credit cards, which they did not in the bank;and, who did many tasks, we deflect on others, simply by themselves and for themselves. We can learn from history, and we can opt to use this as a time to re-build a world that no longer needs instant gratification, instant release of pain. Life is joyful, and it is equally painful. One can simply not experience one without the other, and unfortunately now there is rampant pain in the world. Let's use beautiful Jupiter in the compassionate sign of Pisces to forge forward and think less of ourselves and more of others. January: A Time of Re-Constructing by Tisch Aitken
HI, Everyone,
I've started to feel a bit like the "Doom and Gloom" astrologer because every time I have a newsletter, I have some more challenges to report. However, if we look at the world around us, there are extremely heavy global issues, which don't belie the astrological cycles: Simply put, we have a lot of work to do!
Since October 23rd, 2009, we have felt the challenging influence of Pluto, which is the planet of transformation, major beginnings, endings, and obsessiveness, making a challenging influence to Saturn, which is structure, capitalism, big business, responsibility, and karma. Interestingly enough, many of us are having to shed our big lifestyles, our goals for success and what they really mean, in order to transform ourselves on the individual level.
This summer, Pluto, the planet of Death and Regeneration was at the world axis, and many thought of it as "The Summer of Death" for celebrities, as there was one report after the other of another celebrity passing. This fall, it came to the individual influence, as the world axis literally impacts all of us, and many have gone through break ups, big challenges, deaths, loss, joblessness, etc. It has not been an easy time. It's a time of detoxing from many of our habits and belief systems, in order to improve the world, our culture,our lives, and literally the earth. We've abused ourselves, our resources, and our environment.
This past few months, we've been entrenched in the health care debate, and many are at strife due to political viewpoints and angry. This, too is Saturn square Pluto, as Saturn represents the government, among other things, and again at the world axis -- many are feeling it, fearing it, angered by it, etc. This Pluto/Saturn square became exact on November 8, 2009, Since then, President Obama announced on December 1, 2009 that we are sending more troops to Afghanistan, which will cost approximately 30 billion dollars, and we should be out of the war by July of 2011.
Again, this is very frightening news in the world and in America, and it's again about the re-structuring of Pluto/Saturn, but it's very daunting as Pluto and Saturn are both very intense and often malefic planets, and they can bring much destruction and death. For the first time in my years of reading on websites and phone readings, etc., I'm getting calls about the health care debate, the war, and things that matter outside of ourselves and whether or not he or she may call. Again, it's a re-structuring or our values and taking responsibility for our actions, as Saturn represents Karma.
Another thing worth mention is that Saturn, which is the planet of responsibility and hard work, went into the sign of Libra, which rules relationships and partnerships, on October 30th, where it will remain for the next two years. It leaves briefly and returns to the sign of Virgo from March 26, 2010 until July 22, 2010;but, Saturn will return to the sign of Libra in July and remain there until October 5, 2012 This emphasizes the importance of relationships -- what we give and what we receive, and the balance of the two. Librans, in particular, will feel this energy this next 3 years;but, it also impacts the other cardinal signs, which are Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn. These four signs, in particular, will go through much change this next few years.
Two other things, which are important to mention is that Mercury, which rules all things which transmit information, computers, phones, communication, and modes of transportation like cars, is going retrograde in the sign of Capricorn from December 26th until January 13th, so things could be a little off kilter during that time, items arriving late, computer and phone problems,disagreements etc. Try to do your big purchases before and after those dates.

This could be a bit stormy and emotional relationship wise, as we get to the latter half of the month, and again the signs of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, and Aries, will feel it in particular. If things are rocky, and you really want to try to work it out, wait a bit till this cumbersome energy wanes a few weeks later. If the relationship is not meant to be, Eclipses can eclipse people out of our lives literally.
